How to apply for a loan.

A sacco staff member (with the appropriate user-role permissions) can create a loan application for the member through the following steps:

  • Go to the loans page and click on the Add loan button

  • Search for the member who you plan to create the loan application for

  • If the member has not filled out their profile information, you will be redirected to the member profile page info section to add/update the required info

  • Once you fill out the required member info, you will be redirected back to the loan application wizard process.

Choose the loan product and configure the loan by filling out the info required:

  • Principal amount

  • Loan purpose 

  • Terms of payment

  • Record the applicants mode of repayment

  • Record the applicants preferred mode of loan disbursement

  • Add the loan security - guarantors or public company stock

  • Add any supporting documents to the application

Click submit on the summary page of the application to submit the application
